Our family recently stayed at one of the Northumberland cottages, tucked away in a quaint village surrounded by stunning landscapes. After long days of exploring, we found the cosy retreat to be the perfect place to relax and unwind. We took advantage of the 60-mile coastal path, splitting it into sections for leisurely walks with the kids. the opportunity to jump aboard a boat cruise on Lake Windermere was a highlight for us, offering a chance to experience the nostalgic charm of a classic steamer yacht. But perhaps the most memorable part of our trip was the remote beauty of the Isle of Skye. the cliffs plunging into the sea and the crystal-clear fairy pools left us all in awe. Overall, our family-friendly stay was filled with delightful experiences and happy memories, making it a trip we'll always cherish.
